2017 Fundraising Campaign

Friday, June 2, 6:00 – 9:00 pm
Enjoy a wine and hor d’oeuvres reception for the participating artists. Then, be a part of the first group to get an up-close, intimate look at what’s been created, from scratch, over the course of the 3-week residency (the public opening will be on June 4). We’ll be taking a directed walk at dusk along the exhibition trail in the company of the artists.
Tickets for this event, available here, are $50 each. Proceeds will go toward funding the 2017 Site-Responsive Art Biennale, a program that costs I-Park $90,000 to realize.

I-Park is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its signature Site-Responsive Art Biennale. New multi-disciplinary works by an international contingent of 12 highly talented artists will be installed within I-Park’s natural and built environments during the course of a 3-week residency.
While we were very pleased to have been awarded $20,000 by the NEA in support of the program, the total cost exceeds $90,000. Expenses include: artists’ stipends, the meals program, professional documentation, honoraria for the selection/curatorial review panels, materials and equipment. Help us to sustain this stimulating, provocative program at the high level we set for it for it in 2007! All contributions will be recognized on the I-Park website.

2018 Composers + Musicians Collaborative Residency
In 2018, for the third time since 2015, I-Park will host a prestigious new-music ensemble-in-residence – for the benefit of 5 composers who will share this resource over the course of a 2-week onsite residency. It is a truly rare opportunity for a contemporary composer to be offered such an intimate connection to a performing ensemble – and the potential to have their piece fully read/rehearsed between 20 and 30 times prior to its premiere! This arrangement has been shown to foster collaboration, mutual respect among the composers and musicians, innovation, high performance values and deep network connections. At the end of the residency, the to-be-named ensemble will perform the 5 new works in a series of concerts in Connecticut and New York City – and all participants will receive professionally produced recordings of the newly created works.
While we were very pleased to have been awarded $20,000 by the NEA in support of the program, the total cost will be $70,000. Expenses include: composers’ stipends, commissioning of the ensemble, recording costs, the meals program, professional documentation, honoraria for the selection/curatorial review panels, concert venue costs and piano rentals. All contributors will be recognized on the I-Park website.

We are seeking financial support for the following:
$1,000 Food/Beverages Sponsors (maximum 5)
$2,500 Entertainment Sponsor (sole sponsor)
Sponsors of Food/Beverages and Entertainment will receive 2 tickets to the fundraising dinner, recognition on the I-Park website and, if the contribution or pledge is received prior to September 15 , recognition in the printed program for the Fundraising Dinner.
$1,000 10-Person Table
$2,500 Major Sponsor 10-Person Table
Those purchasing tables will have a placard with their name posted at their table, receive recognition on the I-Park website and, if the contribution or pledge is received prior to September 15, recognition in the printed program for the Fundraising Dinner. Those purchasing a Major Sponsor 10-Person Table will also be recognized as a Major Donor on I-Park’s homepage for a least a full calendar year.
