Anomaly for the I-Park pond was inspired by the possibilities of reflections and the ability to perceive the mirror image existing below the surface. This project comes from the understanding that here at I-Park, I would confront a far truer version of a natural landscape than the parks and gardens I most often work within. My flower blobs adorned in artificial flora and fauna would become an anomaly, a deviation, or departure from what is the expected experience within the I-Park landscape. |
