I-Park, no longer a fuzzy headed hatchling, is eager to fly the comfort and safety of its nest. Flying the Nest, I-Park’s first fundraising event, will kick off a formal campaign to transition it from a privately funded institution to one with broad public support. I-Park has made great strides since its founding as an artists-in-residence program in 2001 – even more so since becoming a not-for-profit corporation in 2009 – and is proud to make this appeal to ensure a promising future.
We need your assistance to jump-start this initiative and to spread the word – ring the bell, toot the horn – about the serious contributions I-Park is today making within the creative community: providing unique, enriching, impactful residency experiences for those coming through its programs and traversing its grounds. Many of these artist fellows, almost 600 to date, are going forth to define the art of our time.
